Resize PDF

Change PDF page dimensions to any standard paper size or custom measurements. Content is scaled or cropped to fit. Files never leave your browser.

Match any paper size instantly

Printing a US Letter document on A4 paper? Standardizing scanned pages with inconsistent dimensions? This tool re-pages your PDF to any target size without rasterizing the content. Vector text and graphics remain fully scalable. Choose how the content fits — scaled to fit, stretched to fill, or centered and cropped — then download the result.

Frequently Asked Questions

What page sizes are available?
Standard sizes: A3, A4, A5, US Letter, US Legal, and Tabloid. You can also enter custom dimensions in millimeters for any page size you need.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file is read locally, processed in memory, and the result is downloaded directly.
Can I resize specific pages only?
Currently all pages are resized to the same target. If you need different sizes for different pages, split the PDF first, resize each part, then merge them back together.
What do the fit modes mean?
• Contain: Scales content to fit entirely within the new page (adds white margins if aspect ratios differ). • Stretch: Stretches content to fill the new page exactly (may distort if aspect ratios differ). • Crop: Centers content at original size and trims anything outside the new page boundary.
Does resizing affect text quality?
No. The tool embeds original pages into new ones at the target size — vector text and graphics remain scalable. There is no rasterization.
Why would I need to resize a PDF?
Common reasons: matching paper size for printing (e.g. converting US Letter to A4), fitting content into presentation slides, standardizing mixed-size scanned documents, or meeting portal upload requirements.
