Are my files uploaded?
No. Watermarking happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can I adjust the transparency?
Yes. The opacity slider goes from 5% (barely visible) to 50% (very prominent). The default 15% is subtle enough to not obscure content while still being visible.
Can the watermark be removed afterward?
The watermark is drawn directly onto the PDF content layer. It can be removed by someone with PDF editing software, but it cannot be separated from the content non-destructively.
Can I use any text as a watermark?
Yes. Common choices include "CONFIDENTIAL", "DRAFT", "SAMPLE", "DO NOT COPY", or your company name. You can enter any text you want.
Is the watermark applied to all pages?
Yes, the watermark is applied to every page in the document with the same settings.
